My Un-Wish List

While people are publishing Wish lists, I’ve decided to place my Un-Wish list.
So, here is the list of things I do not want to get on Christmas:
1. Fragrance. (I hate when somebody gives me perfume. I like to buy it myself.)
2. Make-up. (The same.)
3. Cooking books (I do NOT like cooking. Why to give me such books?! They do not inspire me to bake or something like that.)
4. Jewelry. (I am NOT a fan of jewelry. I know, it is stylish to wear necklaces, bracelets, and fashionable earrings, but… I’m fond of watch. Watch is my passion:))
So, that is the list. Not long, yeah? There are so many things left anyone can give me on Christmas! Hope, my close people will read this post and I will be pleased with every Christmas gift:))

Christmas! It is a wonderful time! Have you seen Love Actually? Great movie! It is the best film for Christmas time! It fully captures the Christmas mood. But what is a Christmas mood? I think, Christmas is the time when everyone is looking forward for changes, for a wonder. It is time when people are striving to fall in love. I‘m looking for the same. Hope, this year my dreams come true.

Being Thrifty

The crisis makes us cut down expenses. The latest researches show, that being thrifty turns out to be a hard task for lots of people. The thing is human expenses have grown up much for the latest decade. People (all over the world) lost the ability to economize.

Check out your month expenses and you will see how much money you waste every month. I believe, there are people who are able to live thrifty but they are really few in number.

I admit - I am a spendthrift. I’ve written down all my expenses for two last weeks. I realized – I waste money. I buy lots of useless things. All my attempts to cut down the expenses failed. And now I’m looking for ways to become economical , for the ways that really works. If I do not start save today, I’m afraid, I will have no money to buy Christmas gifts for my close people.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

My 16-years old niece is a Justin Timberlake fan. She buys his albums, concert DVDs, and never misses a show when he takes a part in it. The walls in her room are covered with his posters. All she is dreaming about is to visit Justin’s show, meet him. He is Everything for her. All her life. (at least, she says so)

No doubt, everyone has ever see fans on a show: they cry and tears are running when they see their Idol. But I never understand fans. Girl-fans always say they are in love with this or that singer/actor. They are dreaming about him. But is it really possible to love a person you never meet, you never talk to? What it is like to love a Dream?

Big Shopping Time

December and November is big shopping time. Everyone is looking for Christmas gifts for close people. So, I’m going to check my credit report. I want to learn my FICO score before to apply for a cash back credit card.

Free Credit Reports
I do love shopping for gifts. I can spend hours in stores to find something special for my friend and relatives. The only thing that keeps me from shopping now is my budget. Unfortunately, I do not have enough cash for presents. So, I will have to buy things on my credit card. But all these rates, fees and so on make me mad. I want to enjoy shopping but not calculate how much I overpay every time I buy anything.

I'm Starting Life Without Cable TV

I’ve decided try to live without cable TV. I calculated my expenses and realized that I spent too much last month. So, I’m going to do my best to cut the domestic expenses. My friend advised me to turn off the cable TV, she convinced me that it is a waste of money.
Well, I calculated how much time I spend in front of TV and how many cable channels I watch. Guess what? I hardly watch half of cable channels, I watch only five, in particular. Besides, I am not a person who spends hours in front of TV. I often have to stay at work late and I try to go to a gym two/three times a week. So, I really rare watch TV at all. Next month I’m going to start my life without cable TV, hope it will help me to save money.

Dating Sites

Have you ever visited Dating sites? I decided to try. Frankly speaking, my friend told me into this. Well, I’ve gotten many messages. But, unfortunately, they are all stupid, nothing special. I think, most of the people on such websites are freaks. I don’t understand, how adequate people manage to find a match there!

My cousin met her husband on one of such sites. She says, she met a lot of interesting people in the Internet. But I haven’t seen any interesting person on the dating site I visited. Maybe, I was expecting too much? Or, it is me who is not adequate? Who knows….

Looking for a New Handbag

Decided to buy a new hand bag. I want something oversized (to take all the things I need). I dropped in several stores, but failed to find the thing I want. The bags I like either too expensive, or the color is not the one I’m looking for. I also browsed the E-bay. Found nothing except this one. So, I decided to wait till Christmas discounts. Maybe, then I will buy something I really like and will save some bags.

Bad Loses

Today everyone is speaking about the financial crisis. Lots of people lose their money and get into big debt. Yesterday, I saw the list of former millionaires and billionaires who lost great money on the stock market. Just think, Daniel H. Mudd had $26,5 mil., now his fortune is only $ 476,000. Of course, he is still rich, but think, how much he lost! I’m happy I had and have no shares. I can’t even imagine, what I would do if I lost the biggest part of my savings. Oh, this crisis brought lots of problems and loses.

Bad Mood

It is raining all the way today… I love rain, but not when it is autumn. I love summer rains: fast and warm. But autumn rains are always so sad: it seems the rain is going last forever. I think the best way to spend a rainy day is stay at home, read a book or watch DVDs. But not to work! I hate to be in the office when it is raining. I always feel sleepy and cannot concentrate on the business. Today is a rainy day and I have to be in the office…

Bruce, I'm Disapointed with You

Bruce Willis is one of my favorite actors. I adore him since childhood. I’ve always thought he has a good style and though he is 53 now he is still good looking and attractive. At least, he has tried. But look at this picture! It is awful! This white bear! He is like a weak old man with two granddaughters (though one is his daughter and the second is his young girlfriend). What has happened with him? He is dating a young beautiful woman but looks like an old men, but not like an attractive man. I’m disappointed…

It Is High Time to Start Saving for Christmas

I dropped into a department store today. They sell Christmas presents already! Though Halloween is coming, lots of stores start selling Christmas-tree decorations.

I’ve checked my budget and decided, October is high time to start saving for Christmas presents if I want to give something to all my friends and relatives. This week my friend has a birthday, so I’m going to start saving from the next week.

Credit Card Information

If you want to be a success in personal finance management, you should learn about budgeting and credit cards, as much as possible. To learn more about credit cards you can contact your bank, but the information they provide often turns out to be too complicated. You can consult a financial specialist, but financial consultations may cost you a pretty penny. There is another way to become an expert in credit cards, and be always in the know of what happens on the credit market. Visit http://www.yourcreditoptions.com/Credit-Cards-News-3571501-page.php. There you will find articles on credit deals and up-today news about the credit market. If you browse the site, you also find informative reviews on all credit cards available online.

Sanrio Doghouse

Do you like dogs? Do you like to please your pet? Lots of Japanese have pets and they do their best to indulge beloved cats and dogs. Sanrio created a special doghouse that is sure to become a favorable place for every dog. You can find this doghouse at a department store in Tokyo and it costs only $ 31,660. It has 7,600 Swarovski crystal beads and is large enough for a Chihuahua or terrier.

I think Japanese are crazy about such useless things! Do the creators of the doghouse believe that dogs really need such a house?! Have you ever see a dog who would care about Swarovski crystals? Nonsense!

Crisis on the Market

Just think, stocks fell by nearly 5% in New York. It turns out that American market is even in deeper crisis than specialists has been speaking. NY Times says, the problems in the American financial system will inflict further damage . Here is the article

Wise Time Management

How to plan your day and use every minute to achieve maximum in your business day? It is a real problem for me to plan my day in such a way that I will waste no minute. I try to plan my every day, I often make Must Do lists. But still, I often feel that time is running out and I haven’t finished this or that. I always feel short of time. Time management is my big problem. I’ve read some articles on wise time management, but they didn’t help me. Time is still running out and I have so many things to do....

Motivation

How to get motivated? No doubt, every job demands personal motivation. Of course, money is a good cause to work hard, but your job should give you something beside money. Even when you manage to find a work place that will meet all your requirements and bring you satisfaction, there can come a period of time when you are tired and sick of your work. So, what you shall do at that time? Will you quit your job and start looking for a new place? Some people will do in this way, but I believe most of us will try to get more motivated.

If you are tired of your current work, ask yourself the following questions: why I was striving to this work place, what it gives me, what benefits can I get from it (money, career, moral satisfaction), what is special about my job. Sure, you will find a cause to keep to your work. If not, maybe it is time to look for another place?

Balance Transfer Credit Cards

No doubt, everyone has ever heard about the advantages of balance transfer credit cards. This type of plastics can become a helping hand if you want to cut your debt. But before applying for a balance transfer, consider some points about balance transfers.
  • Pay attention to balance transfer fee. Transferring you high interest rate balance onto a card with lower interests, you are to be charged a balance transfer fee. It is a one - time fee that usually makes from 1% to 3% of the entire balance you are going to shift. So learn, the fee before to sign for a card otherwise the “beneficial” balance transfer will cost you a penny.
  • Annual fee. No doubt, it is more beneficial to apply for a no annual fee credit card. But if you find a suitable balance transfer card with a small annual fee, do not neglect this offer. Mind, balance transfer cards let you get rid of debt, an annual fee will hardly become a big obstacle.
  • Ongoing interest rates. Lots of consumers neglect reading credit applications up to the end. If you are going to apply for a balance transfer card and do not want to end up with high interest rate debt, pay attention not only to promoting rates but to ongoing APRs as well. Make sure, that in case you fail to pay your balance within an introductory period, you will be able to manage your interest rates in order to reduce debt.

Manage Your Stress

How to manage stress? I think lots of office clerks are concerned about this question. No doubt, office work gives lots of negative emotions: you are always short of time, have to communicate with lots of people, there are always lots of things to do. Moreover, you rarely have enough sleep and by weekends you often feel tired to death.

No doubt, everyone has ever heard about the ways to relax and overcome stress: aromatherapy, color therapy, massage, acupuncture, yoga, etc. I’m sure everyone can name lots of methods to manage stress. Personally, I’ve chosen sport.

I’ve been taking classes in fitness club for half a year. I can say it works! I have good sleep, I feel the vitality of the body, and I like what I see in the mirror. Stress is not a problem for me now.

So, I advise everybody: do not complain about your stress, just do something. Try different methods of stress management and you are sure to find one that you will like and that will give you virility and vitality.

Sad Things about Overspending

Autumn is coming. A new season is always a good time to buy new clothes in order to change one’s image. I was thinking of buying some new things, but now I realized I can afford very little.
A month ago, I was going to buy several dresses, high-heeled shoes, a trench coat or something else. I wanna make my image more feminine. But as I’ve spent too much money on trifles (cosmetic, CDs, DVDs), I cannot afford to buy many things now.
So, now I’m looking for cheaper things but not for brands, as I was dreaming. Moreover, I realize I will hardly be able to change my image, now I can buy only several necessary things and that’s all. It is sad.

How to Save? That is a Question!

How to save? That is the question I’m concerned at the moment. I calculated how much I spent for this month. I was shocked! The whole month I did my best to save, I avoided big shopping and tried to spend as less as possible. And what I see at the end of the month? I spent as much money as usual.
My conclusion, the more I tried to save, the more I spent on trifles. It is bad. I do not know what to do.
It will be my birthday next month. I need to save some money: I want to make a new haircut, visit a cosmetologist. I want to look marvelous on my birthday! Besides, I want to make a birthday party. It demands money, too. So, it is time to start saving money for the birthday.
But how? How to save money if the more I try to save, the more I spend. How to take control of my spending? Do you have an idea?

Credit Score Information

Credit score is very important in our days. Just think, high credit score is not only the proof of your good financial well-being but it also proves that you are a responsible and smart consumer. Today credit score is of a great importance not only when you are going to apply for a credit card, or going to take a mortgage, it plays a role even when you are interviewed for a new job.
Everyone realizes, the higher credit score you have, the better. How to acquire high credit score? I Feel Bad

I feel awful! I feel ashamed! I let down my friend. My friend has problems with her apartment. She is looking for a new apartment but she does not have enough money. So, she asked me for a help, she wanted us to share an apartment, my apartment. I could have said “yes” and saved my friend from many problems, but I said “no”.
The thing is I am used to live alone. I have been living alone for several years. I enjoy living alone. I cannot sacrifice my freedom. I am not ready to adjust to anybody. I mean I am not ready to adjust to my friend’s habits. I do not want to share an apartment with one of my friends. I love my friends, but I WANT to live ALONE. I am not a teenager to share my apartment with a friend. So, I refused my friend. My best friend.
It is awful and I feel ashamed of this. But don’t I have the right to live alone in my apartment and do not share it with anybody else?

Wedding Is an Expensive Treat?

A friend of mine is going to marry next week. I am invited to the wedding ceremony and party. I am happy for my friend and I’m looking forward for the ceremony. I’m sure she will look fantastically. And the party is sure to be awesome! It is a great event!
But on the other hand, a wedding is an expensive treat. It concerns not only the couple but guests, too.
Just look how much you have to spend just to visit a wedding. First, you need a gown. Of course, a bride always looks the best, but what about other guests. Show me a woman who doesn’t spend hours (and even days) in search for a special dress for the occasion. I am one of such women, and I have to admit that the dress cost me a pretty penny.
So, you buy a dress and then you realize that you need to buy also shoes, accessories. You need a hairstyle, manicure, make-up. Yeah, you have to fork money for this stuff.
Now you look great and ready for the ceremony. But what about a bunch of flowers and a present for newly married? Loosen your purse strings!
So, the only question I’m concerned now is how to save money on weddings. How to enjoy your friend’s wedding party and not to go bankrupt?!

Credit Card Fraud: Be Careful!

Yesterday I met my friend Lisa. Lisa has recently faced credit card fraud. A month ago she noticed some unauthorized purchases in her statement. She contacted the credit card company and got her credit account frozen. Luckily, she has a small limit on your credit card, as it is her first plastic. So, fraudsters didn’t manage to take much money. But still, nothing pleasant.
I browsed the Internet and learned the next thing about credit card fraud. Today it is wide spreading. You can face it anywhere where is credit card scanner. Fraudsters put their credit card skimmers on ATM machines, at grocery stores and gas pumps, on Redbox movie rental machines at local McDonalds, everywhere. But the worst thing about this is nobody can protect you against fraud except yourself. So, be careful. Do your best to keep your identity information secure, protect your money.
If you often use ATM machines, follow these tips in order to protect your identity:
• Keep a safe distance from others in line. Never allow a stranger to assist or distract you.
• Stand close to the screen of an ATM machine and try to shield your key strokes from others waiting in line.
• If you think that the ATM machine is not working properly, do not use it. Press cancel, get your card, and report the ATM to your credit card company or bank.
• When the transaction is over, make sure that the screen is clear before leaving the ATM.

Where You Can Find Best Credit Cards

My friend Jim obtained a new credit card last week. He managed to get a credit card with really favorable terms such as 0% APR on purchases for 15 months and generous rewards. When I asked him where he found such a great offer, he advised me to visit CreditCardFlyers.com.
I browsed the site and found it really useful. It does let you save your precious time!

The site is arranged in such a way that you won’t have to spend hours in order to find best credit cards.

Save On Everyday Purchases

How much do you spend while making your usual purchases? Recent surveys show that Americans tend to overspend on foodstuffs. Every time we visit supermarkets we buy much more food than we need. Moreover, we do not use as much foodstuffs as we buy, so we throw away lots of products. It is just a waste of money!
How to save? First, make a list of food you need and stick to the list. I have never made such list before, but three months ago I decided to check whether the lists work or not. Lists of purchases do work! Now I spend less time in groceries and purchases only the things I really need. It saves me enough bucks and time.
One of my friend trying to save money on food makes a list of possible dishes for the whole week. Every Sunday she makes a list of dishes she will make during the week and then she buys only the foodstuffs necessary for her menu. She assures that thus she saves a lot money that she can then spend on make-up and dresses.
So, choose you way to spend on everyday purchases.

Do You Overspend On Make-Up?

How much money you spend on make-up per month? Recently, I have come across results of a research that showed that most women spend much more on make-up than they need.
I checked my cosmetic box and found that there are many things that I never use, several lipsticks of the same color, useless things. Well, researchers point out that women tend to overspend on make-up. Many of us buy lipsticks, eye shadows, lotions, etc without any necessity. For instance, you have a little time after lunch or right after your work, what would you do? Many girls prefer to go shopping. Most of us can control our spendings on clothes but beauty treatment is a quite different thing. Lots of women buy a lipstick or rouge every day. So, only at the end of the month we realize how much we spend.
How to save money? First, stop looking in beauty shops every day. Try to buy only the things you really need. For this, examine your cosmetic box. Make a list of things you need and follow the list when you go shopping.
Try to control your spending habits and you will see that you make more money that you have thought.

Good Rest Is Hard Work

Do you like travelling? Are you going to take a trip on summer vacation? Certainly, travelling is great. Do you want to get only positive emotions from your trip? Plan your vacation.
I think, if you want to have a good rest you should take pains to plan your vacation and to keep in mind every detail: hotel rooms, tickets, necessary meds, etc.
Decide what you want. For instance, you are going to visit Europe. You want to look in ancient castles, museums, historic places. Mind, you needn’t to pay all the offered excursions in your tour office. First, come to Europe. There you will learn more about the tours and will be able to choose the places you really want to visit.
Plan your time during the vacation. If you prefer to lie on the beach and do nothing, you need no plans. But if your aim is to learn something new and to visit as much interesting places as possible, make a plan. Make a list of places you want to visit. Plan everyday of your vacation, and you will never regret that you miss something special.
Mind, good rest is hard work. Take your pains and prepare every detail for future holidays. And you will get only positive emotions from your trip.

How To Handle Credit Card Wisely?

How to handle credit card wisely? How to avoid debt? Many people are concerned about these questions. There are lots of articles about credit cards and wise credit card management. Financial experts keep on repeating the simple rules of proper credit card usage but still, there are much more consumers with poor credit history than those with good credit rating.
So, what are the simple rules of wise credit card management?
1. Pay all your bills on time. Try to make your payments beforehand, not on the due date.
2. Never exceed credit limit. Every time you are over your credit limit, you are charged the high penalty fee. Besides, your credit score falls dramatically.
3. Try to pay your balance in full every month. Thus, you will save on interest charges.
4. Check your credit report regularly to make sure that it contains no mistake and to prevent fraudulent actions.
Be responsible! Mind, credit cards are not plastic toys!

Take Control of Your Spendings!

Have you heard, credit card companies are increasing credit fees? The credit crisis left its impact. Credit card companies are afraid to lose money again. They have raised interest rates, now they are boosting fees.
Do you want to pay all these fees? I suppose, no. That means all of us should be more responsible with credit cards.
Of course, fees increase is bad news. But on the other hand, it will make careless card holders think before to blue money. Besides, many of us will become more accurate with our bills, as I believe, nobody wants to pay a high late fee. So, it is time to take control of our spending habits!

Why to Read Credit Agreement?

Are credit cards good or evil? If you think that credit is evil, you probably face financial problems and can’t manage your finances. I have many friends who have problems with their credit cards. The question is: Why you, people, never read credit agreements? They are worth of your close attention.
Credit cards do not give free money, they only let you buy now and pay later. If you want to benefit from credit cards but not to get into debt, you must know exactly your interest rates (Intro APR and ongoing interest rate), fees, possible penalty fees. Only then you will be able to calculate the real cost of your credit card. So, you will have to read your credit agreement carefully in order to take your credit under control. Any financial consultant will tell you, that if you want to be a success in credit cards you must read your credit agreement and realize the real cost of your credit card. Listen to their advise and you will avoid many problems.

How Much Do You Need?

Money. How to get big money? It is the talk of the town. But what means big money? How much do you need to live happily and feel free?
Six months ago I thought I would be happy if I could make 500 bucks more than I had made. Now I have the salary I was dreaming of. But what do you think? It is not enough for me. My expenses have increased. Now I need more. Much more. It is a rat race!!!
I am sure I am not alone with this problem. The thing is a human being rare feels satisfied when it concerns money. Ask any celebrity does he/she have enough money. They say, yes, they make big money but they have to spend a lot too. So, the question is how to be satisfied with what you have? How to feel free from money?

I am Pulling My Belt

Yesterday I was checking my monthly bills and it struck my mind that I waste my money. I make more purchases that I can afford and never save money. I am going on vacation at the end of September, so I need to save some money. Well, I have to pull in my belt.
I have decided to reduce my credit card debt or even to eliminate it. So, I am looking for balance transfers.
I’ve learned, if you manage to get a balance transfer card with a low ongoing interest rate, you will save a lot on interest charges and will be able to pay off your debt. I think it is a good deal. So, I will take my chance.

Do You Want to Be Rich and Famous?

Do you want to be rich and famous? Many people would answer without hesitating “YES”. But I say no. I am not a person who is striving to become famous.
Of course, I want to feel free with money. I want to buy the things I like and never worry whether there is enough money on my credit card or not. I want to live in luxurious apartments, spend vacation at expensive spa resorts, drive Porsche and so on and so forth.
But when I think of all these fans and paparazzi who are hunting for you everywhere… It is awful! No doubt, having become famous you will hardly have normal life. Besides, how you will enjoy your vacation at a spa or being at a luxurious party, when there are paparazzi who are striving to make a picture of you when you fall down.
There is one more thing why I will hardly become famous some day. I am not the person who is ready to run myself ragged, I do not want to work 24/7 and have unlimited workday. It is not for me!
So, I’ll better do the job I like and will enjoy what I have.

Generation Gap

I visited my parents last week-end. They live in another city and I visit them really rare. I miss them and was happy to spend time with them.
But there was a problem. My parents are used to wake up toooo early. Even in the week-ends. They always get up at 9 or even 8 a.m. Every morning I was hearing them wandering about the house, speaking in the kitchen, watching morning news… I woke up and could not fall asleep again. But I HATE to get up early in the morning. My parents don’t understand my habit to sleep till noon and I can’t prove them that I feel bad when I get up early. We can’t understand each other on this question. Generation gap:((
Well, I didn’t have my sleep out in the week-end. It is really bad, because I can’t have enough sleep during the week. Waiting forward for the week-end when I will be able to lie in till noon…

Do You Like Design of Your Credit Card?

Do you like the design of your credit card? Have you ever thought to change it?
Well, I like my plastic, Blue from American Express, but it looks too plain. Nothing special. Of course, Gold and Platinum credit cards look more attractive but their attractiveness is due to the prestige they give a cardholder but not thanks to their design.
So, credit card companies considered the fact that many consumers pay attention not only to the features of a credit card but to its design too.
Capital One has introduced credit cards with an individual design. Now you can obtain a credit card that will have your picture, a picture of your boy/girlfriend, or your pet’s picture on the credit card. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
Personally I have already chosen a picture of me for my new credit card…

I am too Lazy

I am too lazy!! Really lazy!
Yesterday I should have gone to fitness classes but I felt so lazy that I decided not to go and stay at home. Well, I like fitness classes but sometimes I just can’t make myself to go to the gym hall. Just can’t…
Moreover during the last few months I prefer to stay at home and don’t want to go out. I can’t make myself to go to cinema, a café, or anywhere else. Just because it so much easier to stay at home and watch TV, read books, or just do nothing. I can’t say that I have some serious problems in my life and staying at home I hide from the life. But I just have no intention to leave my apartment. Just because I am tooooo lazy. Is something wrong with me?

Spring is the Time for Changes?

The spring has come. One of my friends said that she is expecting a lot from this spring, and first of all she hopes to start new relations.
I wonder how many people are awaiting for some changes in the spring? And why exactly in the spring?
Well, some can say that the Spring is the time when the Nature wakes up and it is natural for people to wait for something special at that time. Besides, don’t forget about hormones….
But why not to wait for changes in the winter? During the Christmas time? Or after the New Year Eve? Personally, I wait for some changes exactly in the first days of a year. And spring for me is just a weather season. And what do you think?

Personality, Appearance, Money - What Is More Important?

There are lots of surveys on how to impress a woman or a man on the first date. But all these suggestions are only about appearance. Speaking about girls, different researchers give tips on how to dress and how to behave to impress a man. Their tips for men are slightly different. There are no tips on how to dress, but there are tips what car to choose for the first date, what flowers to give, etc.

Today nobody advises to be yourself, to be polite, listen to your date, etc. But I think, personality is much more important that the impression you produce with the help of some material things. Cars, flowers, dresses help only to show off and prank but they will hardly make a girl/man to go out on a date with you once again, if you are just a doll or a foppish man. Of course, if your date is not as shallow-brained as you are…

Forbidden Fruit Is the Sweetest One

St. Valentine’s Day is coming. Many lovers are wandering along stores looking for the best gifts to buy for their beloved people. Men are purchasing chocolate and red roses in tons. I like Valentine’s Day…

I have always thought that Valentine’s Day is a unanimous holiday that is celebrated all over the world. But yesterday I heard that not all countries celebrate this holiday. More over it is banned in some Islamic countries.

So, it is forbidden to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day in Saudi Arabia. The government believes that Valentine’s Day is an immoral holiday that provokes fornication. Fornication is considered to be a sin in many Islamic countries and Saudi Arabian government decided to forbid St. Valentine Day in order to keep its citizens from the sin.

The strangest thing about this prohibition is that the government forbade selling and buying roses. So, many men who still want to give flowers to their beloved woman on this holiday have to buy the flowers illegal. The prices on red roses have skyrocketed for the last few weeks and the red rose black market made huge sums of money on selling the flowers. So, the question is, haven’t Saudi Arabian government pushed its people to even more sin? As the saying goes, a forbidden fruit is the sweetest one.

Credit Card Companies Increase Minimum Payments

The Federal Reserve cut the primary rates. The rise of minimum payments is the first result. Many credit card companies have increased their minimum payments.
Well, it is good news on one hand. This rise can push many debtors to pay off their debts as soon as possible. It is a well known fact, if you pay more than minimum payments every month you will pay off your debt on the credit card quicker and will save on interest charges.
But on the other hand, not all debtors can afford themselves to pay more than a minimum payment. So, there is a chance that this rise of minimum payments will only push them into bigger debt.
It seems, that the recent credit card crisis will cause more problems than we had expected.

The Best Valentine's Day Present

Hey, people! Are you looking for a special Valentine’s Day gift for your sweetheart? Give him/her an all-chocolate room. Just imagine, a room with chocolate walls, furniture, pictures on the walls, and even candles on the dining-table.

I wish I could spend a day in such a chocolate room. The only “but” is chocolate tends to melt, I wonder how much time a human being can spend in a chocolate room before it begins to melt. But what an experience! I think it is a great invention!

I do envy Ali Larter who takes part in ads of this unusual Valentine’s gift. She is really lucky!

Is IT Right?

I was wandering along the streets yesterday. There was a thing that shocked me. I saw moms with kids in several places and all of that moms were screaming at their mischievous children. I can’t understand why there is so much cruelty around? Why a mother should scream at or spank her kid for misbehavior?

Well, I am not a mother yet, but I think screaming and spanking is cruel and useless. It leads to nothing but to a child’s tears and screaming in return… I think it is awful!

What to Expect on US Credit Market?

Everyone is concerned about credit crisis and stock market fall in the USA. The Federal Reserve announced about the prime rate reduction. Well, it is good news, on the one hand. Now debtors will have an opportunity to start paying their debt and save some money on interest charges.

But on the other hand, if banks cut interest rates they are sure to raise fees. It is bad news. But we, plain consumers, can do nothing but wait what will happen next.

You can read the article What Are We to Expect on the cRedit card Market and you will learn what experts think about this crisis.

I was Shocked...

Today I was shocked by the news about a woman who tried to kill her newborn twins. It is awful! I always thought that a mother will die for her children if it will be necessary. I thought that a woman who has just born a child should be happy as a queen, and there should be no problems that can keep a new mother from feeling happy about her children. We see all these happy scenes in films, but what we see in reality. Women have become cruel. Every day on TV and in newspapers we see mothers who cruelly beat their children or what is worse who try to kill them. But why does it happen? What makes women do it?

What Is More Important Common Sense or Popularity?

I have recently come across a picture of Victoria Beckham. I was shocked! She is so skinny!

It seems, as if she has been hardly eating something for weeks! It is awful! Doesn’t she understand that she is looking starving!

I think, being skinny doesn’t mean to look beautiful. And the worst thing about Victoria is that she is a mother and a celebrity! What an example she is for her sons and millions of teen-age girls who take after her? Doesn’t she think that starving in order to be skinny like a model-girls, she sets a bad example for teens?

I think she understands it or guesses (at least) about this. But showbiz is cruel! And I think, her desire to keep her fans and even to gain more popularity is much stronger than common sense. I think, the pursuit of world-wide popularity makes many celebs forget about the common sense and keep to silly rules of showbiz. That’s a big problem of our times! Maybe, in the future something will change…

Isn't the Beginning of a New Year Full of Dissapointment?

The beginning of a year is always the time of great expectations and hope for something new and better. But on the other hand, it is the time of big disappointments. It is a kind of paradox. But there are some reasons.

First, you can feel disappointed about the way you have spent Christmas holidays. The researches show that most people expect too much from Christmas. Many wait for a miracle. But then comes Christmas Eve and nothing special happens. The first disappointment.

Then the first bills of a new year come. It is a well-known fact that Americans spend millions and even billion dollars on Christmas presents. In January they receive their credit card bills and see that they have gotten in debt. Well, it is awful, but it is true. So, the first or the first two months we spend in efforts to recover our financial difficulties. It is one more disappointment in the beginning of a new year.

But my biggest disappointment at this time: I have gained 5 pounds during this Christmas holidays. It does make me a lot of trouble. I easily gain weight but it takes me a lot of effort and time to lose it. I think this problem concerns many women. And my weight makes me crazy!

So, begin 2008 year. But I don’t feel happy (at least now) and more, all I feel is great disappointment….
